Two face charges, accused of threatening TBI agent
Two Cocke County, Tennessee residents are facing charges after authorities say they were working together to harm a Tennessee of Bureau of Investigation agent.
According to the Associated Press, it was a mother and son team.
Forty-four-year-old Clayton Carroll Owenby and his 66-year-old mother, Kathleen Laws Garrett, were indicted by a grand jury.
Prosecutors believe the two wanted to retaliate against an agent that Owenby blamed for his state conviction on drug charges in October of 2012.
