A family in rural Utah is hoping that someone with a frontier spirit and deep pockets will snatch up their 706-acre ghost town for the bargain price of $3.9 million.

Real estate agent Mike Metzger told the Associated Press that the town of Woodside dates back to the early 1900s, when it was a bustling water stop for steam engines.

While it was once occupied by up to 300 residents, it's now home to a couple in their 60s and a pair of free-range llamas.

Metzger said the town features a cold-water geyser, a service station with a U.S. Post Office inside and a possible connection to Wild West history -- historians said Butch Cassidy and his gang once used the nearby canyon country as a hideout.

"You can be the sheriff, the judge and executioner of your own town," he told the AP. "You can be mayor. You can be whatever you wanted. It would be amazing."

Metzger said the town's owner, Roy Pogue, placed the property up for sale because he can't take care of the land anymore, and because his wife misses neighbors.
