Dr. Ralph Stanley honored by Song of the Mountains

MARION, Va. -

The Lincoln Theatre and Song of the Mountains announces an exclusive evening to honor Dr. Ralph Stanley & his grandson Nathan Stanley on Friday, March 29, 2013

Held at the President’s House at Emory and Henry College, this event offers the opportunity to get to know Dr. Stanley while enjoying a superior dinner in an elegant setting.

The evenings entertainment will feature Bluegrass music by Ralph and Nathan as well as opportunities for autographs and pictures.

The dinner and house concert will be hosted by Tim White who emcees and hosts Song of the Mountains on public television.

Banjo Auction at the Fundraiser

A very special opportunity to own a beautiful Deering Calico Banjo (valued at $4,500), autographed by Dr. Stanley, Doc Watson and many others will up for auction to fundraiser attendees.

All proceeds to benefit Song of the Mountains which tapes their concert series from the historic Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia. The concert series airs on over 190 PBS affiliates across America.
