SCOTT COUNTY, Va. -

A new sign unveiled Tuesday in Gate City, Va. is hoping to attract visitors and promote tourism.

It is all a part of a new social media campaign that's happening all across the state of Virginia.

Scott County joins more than 20-existing sculptures scattered along Virginia highways.   The idea is that folks will stop and take a picture in front of the sign and post it to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  The message is that love is at the heart of every Virginia vacation.

In 2011 tourism generated 20-billion dollar in revenue for the state of Virginia.  the sign is located at the intersection of Highway-23 and Kane Street.
