ARSON
HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. -

Three weekend fires are under investigation and police believe they may be arson.

The Hawkins County Sheriff's Department said the first fire started in a mobile home on Little Springs Road in Rogersville on Saturday. The owner told police the residence had been vacant for over a month and there was no electricity hooked up.

The second fire started early Sunday at a home on Bradshaw Drive in Rogersville. That house was also vacant and had no electricity or gas hooked up.  "That's a good sign that someone has set it on fire when there's no electricity running to it," said Detective Daniel Byington.

Police said the third fire was started by a liquor bottle full of gasoline on the side of Haun Road.

Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call the Hawkins County Sheriff's Department at (423) 272-4848.
