CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. -

More testing is expected Tuesday after the discovery of bones in Carter County, Tennessee.

The U.T. Forensics Unit, TBI and Carter County deputies are expected to return to the site.

The Sheriff's Department says the skeletal remains found near Gap Creek Road last Wednesday by road crews are indeed that of a man about 40 to 45 years old.

Investigators found a wallet with identification near the site.

Sheriff Chris Mathes confirms the name found in the wallet as Zane Baxter Gervin, II. But, he went on to say this doesn't necessarily mean the bones are those of Gervin.

Sheriff Chris Mathes tells us they are using science and soil samples to piece together the timeline of the death.

Mathes says the U.T. Forensics Unit, TBI and Carter County deputies will return to the site for more testing Tuesday.
