The Daily Beast pored through 30 years of voting data to find out which states have the most passionate voters and, thus, are the most political.

RICHMOND, Va. -

The lead is widening in the Attorney General race for the Commonwealth of Virginia. We've learned Democrat Mark Herring's lead is growing over Republican Mark Obenshain.

A count Tuesday night of provisional ballots in Virginia's largest county put Herring 163 votes ahead of Obenshain.  Midnight was the deadline for ballots to be certified by local election boards.

The race will likely go for a recount after the State Board of Elections certifies the votes.

While Herring's campaign has already claimed victory, Obenshain issued a statement saying he would wait until the state certifies the results November 25.
