A judge has denied a defense motion in the so-called Facebook murder trial.
Barbara Potter, Jenelle Potter, and Jamie Lynn Curd are each charged with two counts of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection to the 2012 killings of Billy Payne, Jr. and Billie Jean Hayworth.
According to District Attorney Tony Clark, on Wednesday a judge denied a change of venue request but said he may revisit the issue at a later date.
A trial date has been set for August 11.
Marvin Potter was convicted on two counts of murder in the case last year and was sentenced to 51 years on each count.
