Former patients of closed cancer clinic getting records

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

Patient records for the now-defunct McLeod Blood and Cancer Center in Johnson City are being processed as fast as the requests come in.

Attorney Tom Jessee tells News 5 that over 50 requests for records have been processed, but a large number still remain. Jessee says all the doctors associated with clinic, including founder Dr. William Kinciad, are involved in the process.

Kincaid pleaded guilty to one count of receiving an illegal shipment of a cancer medication in 2011 from a non-FDA approved manufacturer in Switzerland. Click here to read more about the case.
