JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

A federal judge in Greeneville has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a company trying to open a methadone clinic in Johnson City.

The lawsuit was filed saying the city was discriminating against the company.

Judge Ronnie Greer tossed out the case saying it was legal for the city not to issue permits because the property where the company wants to locate is not zoned for methadone clinics.

The judge says the city's ordinance does not prevent the business from opening.
