BRISTOL, Va. -

A local animal rescue operation is plagued with animals that have major health issues right now, and they're trying to raise money to help pay the vet bills.

Happy Tails Animal Rescue of Washington County, Virginia will be hosting a fundraiser at the Bojangles at Exit 7 in Bristol, Virginia on March 31st.

If you come to the restaurant between 5-8pm and let them know you would like your order to support Happy Tails, 20% of the profits will be donated to Happy Tails.

Happy Tails Animal Rescue (HTAR) of Washington County Virginia is a non-profit rescue group that has saved thousands of animals from shelters, strays from the county along with cats and dogs relinquished by their owners.
