ERWIN, Tenn. -

An Erwin man will spend more than 14 years in prison for participating in a drug conspiracy.

34-year-old Joseph Banner pleaded guilty to conspiracy to make meth charges in September.

Banner is one of 21 who were convicted and sentenced in relation to the conspiracy.

The U.S. Attorney's office says Banner was part of a meth-making network in which he was a "shake-and-bake" cook.

Police say they found remnants of labs on the property surrounding his residence.
