Marina suffering from extreme lake levels

Wednesday's rain didn't do anything to help the high waters of Watauga Lake.
Right now the lake is at 1,966.5 feet, just six inches down from its record-breaking level set earlier this week.
At Cove Ridge Marina in Butler, Tennessee, employees told News 5 they had to cut off their electricity on the water for safety reasons last week.
Days later, that's putting a damper on business. "In fuel sales we do [lose business], and of course we operate a grill here. So without any power, it's shut down, too," said Wayne Proffitt, a marina employee.
TVA officials told News 5 they are continuing to use of both generating turbines and a system called 'sluicing' to lower the lake.
