Scouting For Food drive begins
BRISTOL, Tenn./Va. -

Area boy scouts and cub scouts need your help to help feed the hungry.

Scouts will be picking up collection bags this Saturday for their 'Scouting for Food' campaign.

It’s a service project that gathers non-perishable food for area food banks.

Troop 423 in Bristol will be collecting food for the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry.

Scout Master Michael Harman tells us they've already picked up a lot of help, "To help us with that, EasyHome Rentals let us use a box truck to transport the items here. It's just been crazy the amount of help to make this happen."

Harman tells us Shearer's Food donated a large supply of chips to the food drive as well.
