Volunteers help with Abingdon Habitat for Humanity

About a dozen people were beating the heat Saturday and building a house.
It's part of Habitat for Humanity out of Washington County, Virginia.
They were working on one of four houses they are on track to build this year. Volunteers from 'First Presbyterian Church' in Bristol were helping.
The house is a modular home that was moved last week from the Neff Center.
Operations director Pete Stigers tells us they are narrowing down families that will live in this home. "Our family selection committee has been working pretty hard," he said. "I think they've visited about four families this month to see about getting one."
We're told the house will be done by August 1.
