WINDOW INSTALLATION
BRISTOL, Va. -

In just one year a museum focusing on music from our region will be open.

If you've driven by the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, Virginia you've probably noticed construction crews hard at work. Officials tell us they've finished the chapel and staircase inside, along with the skylight, which will hold a sculpture.

We've learned window installation is 80 percent complete and we're told these windows are one-of-a-kind. "They're all being custom-fitted. The building originated in 1919-1920 and so the sizes of the windows are a little peculiar. It's been a very detailed process," said Sarah Tollie, communications associate with the Birthplace of Country Music Association.

A total of 10 exhibits will be at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, which is slated to open August 2014.
