JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

In the Tri-Cities, most everyone woke up to one to three inches of snow on Wednesday.

Roads in Washington County, Tennessee remained safe. We're told there were no major accidents and no injuries.

Even with the chilly temperatures, we found many people out enjoying the snow.

One family we spoke with spent the day sledding. "We've been waiting. I've had the sleds for about three weeks and I knew it was going to snow. My daughter said, 'It ain't going to get enough snow.' I said, 'Yes, it will'," says Denise Boyd.

As the temperature drops Wednesday night, the concern now is black ice.

Washington County tells us they've cleared all their roads and have trucks on call just in case ice becomes an issue.
