Bristol, Virginia Police say a man robbed a Rite-Aid Sunday morning.
According to investigators it happened around 10 a.m. at the Rite-Aid on the corner of Commonwealth and Euclid Avenues.
Detective Angela Simpson tells us a man walked up to the pharmacist and handed them a note demanding narcotics. We're told the note said the suspect was armed and people would be hurt if they didn't listen.
Simpson says that's when the pharmacist handed the suspect a number of pills.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 5'4" and 5'9" in height, weighing 150 to 180 lbs., with dark hair and a heavy mustache. He was wearing a black or tan plaid hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black athletic shoes.
We're told Rite-Aid is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Bristol, Virginia Police Department at (276) 645-7400.
