Greeneville rolls past Signal Mountain

Greeneville, Tenn. -

Week 9 of high school football was highlighted by unbeaten Greeneville beating Signal Mountain, a 4A power out of the Chattanooga area, 47-20 to improve to 9-0.

Greeneville jumped out to an early lead thanks to a touchdown run by Quan Wilson.

The Greene Devils added another touchdown minutes later when Isaiah Dabbs recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown to give Greeneville a 12-0 lead.

The Greene Devils led 19-0 at halftime and pushed the lead to 33-0 midway through the third quarter.

Signal Mountain finally got in the endzone late in the third quarter to make it 33-6.

Greeneville went on to win 47-20. The Greene Devils are now 9-0. They will conclude the regular season next week at Cumberland Gap.
