Woman arrested in goat dispute
A dispute over the ownership of two adult goats and three baby goats led to the arrest of a 62-year-old woman on Friday.
Sandra Brunoli turned herself in after learning of an active warrant for her arrest, police in Southington, Conn., said. She is charged with first-degree criminal trespass.
Brunoli says she took the two adult goats to a farm in August to be boarded temporarily. One of the goats gave birth to three baby goats since then, and Brunoli claims ownership of all five goats, police said.
The farm owner says the goats are his because Brunoli gave them to him, police said.
In late February, Brunoli entered the farm without the owner's permission and took all five goats, police said.
